40 over 40 Project

About the Project:

This project is about empowering and celebrating women in business! Women-owned businesses are still in the minority, and the hurdles faced by women in entrepreneurship are vast and often very different from those experienced by their male counterparts. Women face barriers such as limited funding and gender biases. They also battle societal stereotypes around taking care of their home and children and therefore struggle with work-life balance.

Yet, despite all of these hurdles, women entrepreneurs are raising the bar, breaking glass ceilings, and contributing successfully to our Canadian economy.

To celebrate these mighty warriors and inspire other women in business through their stories, I will be photographing and interviewing 40 women that own their own businesses.

The experience will include a full makeover by my professional hair and makeup artist and a guided portrait session with me.

After this project is complete, I will hold a Gala showcasing the portraits of each woman photographed. It will be a night celebrating everyone involved, with food, drinks and a possibly a silent auction!

One high resolution digital image

1 high resolution digital image is included in the $490 session see. Additional images are purchased separately at your viewing and ordering appointment on the day of your photoshoot.
