HOW AND WHEN TO BOOK 

It is recommended that clients book at least 2-3 months in advance to ensure availability.  In order to provide clients with the ultimate experience, we only book a specific number of clients a month. Last minute requests are subject to availability. It is best to contact us as soon as you can to inquire about last minute availability.  

After the initial phone consultation, we will meet in person, where you will have the opportunity to see the studio, discuss your visions and expectations for the session, and learn more about how we can create stunning images of you and your family.  At this time, should you decide to proceed with booking, we will schedule you in at the most convenient date.   

For maternity clients, the best time to do the session varies from woman to woman, however, the recommended time-frame is generally between 28-35 weeks of pregnancy.  

For newborn sessions, we record your baby’s due date and then once baby has arrived, we ask that clients message us within 48 hours to schedule in a date for their session.  The session is best done within two weeks of baby’s birth (with the exception of preemies).  Having said that, older newborns can certainly be photographed, so feel free to contact the studio as soon as you can to inquire about availability.

ABOUT THE SESSION

As we are a full service studio, our goal is to make your experience as stress-free as possible.  For this reason, we provide all wardrobe for our clients – beautiful gowns and fabrics for our moms and cute little outfits and props for our little clients.  Should you wish to include your partner and/or sibling(s) in the session, we will also help provide wardrobe suggestions for them

Depending on the type of session, we will spend about 2-5 hours in the session.  We never want our clients to feel rushed or exhausted.  Instead we hope to provide a relaxing, comfortable environment for the whole family by making sure you have time for a break and time to eat and hydrate yourself.

PREPARING FOR YOUR SESSION

All booked clients will receive a detailed and informative guide to help them prepare for the session.  Please do take time to read through the prep guide and feel free to ask any questions.

DELIVERY OF IMAGES, PRODUCTS, AND EDITING POLICY

You will have the opportunity to view your images in-person in approximately two weeks.  Once you have seen your beautiful portraits, we will guide you through the process of deciding on wall art or a heirloom album/box for your home.  You will also receive a matching digital copy for each of your purchased images.   

Professional retouching is included in your session and we will make sure we edit your photos to your liking. Don’t worry about extra weight or skin imperfections as we will edit your images with utmost care and attention to detail, and at the same time, also try to keep it as natural as possible.  Our goal is to produce beautiful images that you and your family will love over generations!

We encourage you to spend time looking at our portfolio on our website and social media platforms to get a sense of our style.  Any special requests for posing, styling or editing can be communicated during the consultation.  

THE PRODUCTS

Our products are sourced from some of the best photo labs in the world – Italy and Poland.  For this reason, your products will be of archival quality, guaranteed to last over 100 years.  We offer a wide array of heirloom quality products and samples of these are available for viewing in my studio.   We encourage all clients to invest in products that can be displayed in your homes.  

THE STUDIO

The studio is located in South Burnaby, close to SE Marine Drive and Boundary Road. Parking is available next to the building. The studio is accessible to clients from all parts of lower mainland –  Richmond, Surrey, Langley, Delta, New Westminster, Vancouver, Burnaby, North and West Vancouver.
